If you’ve just bought your Leduc real estate, you’re moving in at the perfect time. Summer is full of events in Leduc. These events take place throughout the summer and include activities for kids and adults. Here are a few of the things to look forward to in the coming months.

Go Skateboarding Day

On June 21st, Leduc Skateboard Park will be full of talented skateboarders showing off their best tricks. This event takes place around the globe, but luckily you don’t have to travel far to see some amazing skateboarding. You can even try it out yourself and see if you have any hidden skateboarding talent. There will also be pizza to eat as you watch talented kids, teenagers, and adults skateboarding up and down the ramps of the park.

Canada Day

Every year, Leduc celebrates Canada Day in style. There are events and activities throughout the city, starting with a pancake breakfast at Leduc Legion. Throughout the day, you can watch a reptile show, listen to music by Old Tyme Aires, and go to a carnival at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. The day ends with an outdoor concert and a spectacular fireworks display. Leduc’s celebration is the perfect way to have a fun day and to show off your national pride.

Main Street Festival

On July 19th, Leduc will be having its fifth annual Main Street Festival. It’s located, as the name suggests, on Main Street, in Leduc’s downtown core. There will be plenty of food vendors, a farmer’s market, street performers, inflatable amusements for the kids, and an art walk for the adults. This festival shows off the best Leduc has to offer, with almost all of the local businesses coming out to show their wares. If you just moved into your Leduc real estate, this festival will tell you all you need to know about your new home.

Party in Alexandra Park

Finally, to end the summer, on September 5th there will be a huge community barbeque and an outdoor movie in Alexandra Park. This party is a great way to end your summer. The movie shown is always family-friendly, so be sure to bring your kids and join the rest of Leduc in wishing summer goodbye.

Leduc is full of fun things to do, from events that celebrating skateboarding to events that bring the whole community together. With all of these activities to choose from, you’re sure to have a great summer.
